Powder & Ombré Brows

What is it?

A form of semi-permanent makeup using a soft graduation of colour - lighter at the front of the brow through to a fuller, darker pigment towards the centre - for a powder-soft, natural look.

Is it right for you?

The ideal choice for brow definition with volume - perfect if your natural brow hair is very sparse and you need more volume than microblading offers. Suitable for all skin types, including oily skin.

Will it hurt?

The skin is fully numbed first. Expect gentle tugging and a light dragging sensation; any soreness settles within hours.

Before your appointment

   No tweezing, waxing or plucking for 1 week before

   No deep cleansing facials, peels or scrubs for 2 weeks before

   Stop retinol and vitamin A products 1 month before

   Avoid sun exposure; use high-factor sunscreen in the weeks before

   No Botox or fillers to the forehead area beforehand

   No saunas, gym or perspiration-inducing activity in the 24 hours before

   Arrive 10 minutes early and disclose any skin conditions

Looking after it

• Keep the area as dry as possible for 10 days post-treatment
• Avoid sweating; shower cool and skip saunas and swimming
• No makeup around the brows; apply foundation carefully
• Progressive darkening and slight swelling at first is normal
• Do not pick scabs; allow natural shedding
• Expect some fading around days 7-10 - part of healing
• Full healing takes about 4 weeks; the follow-up perfects any inconsistencies
