Microblading

What is it?

A semi-permanent makeup technique using individual hand-drawn hair strokes and natural pigments. Each stroke is placed to follow your natural growth, giving a completely natural result that softly fades over 12-18 months.

Is it right for you?

Anyone dissatisfied with their natural brows - including over-plucked brows and age-related loss of hair or pigment. If your skin is very oily, powder brows may hold better; Kseniia will advise honestly at consultation.

Will it hurt?

The skin is fully numbed before treatment. Most clients feel gentle tugging and dragging rather than pain, with mild soreness afterwards that settles within hours.

Before your appointment

   No tweezing, waxing, plucking or electrolysis on the brow area for 1 week before

   No deep cleansing facials, peels or scrubs for 2 weeks before

   Stop retinol and vitamin A products 1 month before

   Avoid sun exposure; use high-factor sunscreen in the weeks before

   No Botox or fillers to the forehead area beforehand

   No saunas, gym or runs in the 24 hours before

   Tell Kseniia about any skin conditions - pigmentation issues, dermatitis, eczema

Looking after it

• Keep the area as dry as possible for 10 days - use the provided shower shield for quick, cool showers
• Avoid sweating: no saunas, swimming or hard workouts at first
• No makeup around the brows; apply foundation carefully
• Expect the colour to darken and the brows to look bigger at first - residual swelling is normal
• Do not pick scabs; let them peel naturally and use the provided aftercare products
• Fading around days 7-10 is part of normal healing
• Full healing takes about 4 weeks; the perfecting session refines the final result
